Lorraine Lona (Morgan)

Lorraine Lona Morgan Center Township Formerly of Midland Lorraine Lona Morgan, 71, of Center Twp., formerly of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at her home. Born January 17, 1949, in East Liverpool, Ohio, daughter of the late Alphonso and Mary Sacilich Lona, she was a retired administrative assistant with Michael Baker International Corp. and previously with FedEx and US Healthcare, Robinson Twp. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church, Center Twp. and a former member with St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester. Lorraine was a 1967 graduate of Midland Lincoln High School and graduated from Ohio Valley Business College, East Liverpool, Ohio. Surviving are her husband, Dennis E. Morgan; one brother and sister-in-law, George D. “Porky” and Betty Lona, Calcutta, Ohio; a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, David and Carlotta Morgan, Monaca, and Mary McDeavitt Morgan, Beaver; two special lifelong friends, Penny Dockery, Horse Shoe, N.C. and Elaine Schulte, Midland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lona; an infant sister, Mary; brother-in-law, Mark Morgan; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary “Honey” and Donald Morgan. Friends will be received Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester, where a Blessing service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Father Paul Kuppe, O.F. M. Cap. Entombment will be in Beaver Mausoleum. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
