Needless to say how sad I was to learn of the passing of Walter. While visiting in Midland over the week of the Fourth of July I talked with Martin Schulte and learned that Walter had passed away. He will certainly be missed. So many very SPECIAL memories of Walter. I can close my eyes and see his face as well as his SWEET smile. RIP FELLOW CLASSMATE AND FRIEND!
Growing up we were good friends. along with Dennis.Mike, Sal,& Gary. Those of you that have passed away May you rest in peace I will be saying prayers for you and your families and the rest of the class of 1967 May God bless us all
One thing that is truely sad is that i can not remember talking to Walt from the time we left Midland to go off to college. Makes it hard to think of the things left unsaid.
I had the opportunity to visit with Walt when he was home in Midland in the late 1970's. My memory of him was one I will never forget. He was such a kind, genuine, warm man. It is hard to believe that a guy with the energy and strength that he had is no longer here. During the time I was on the reunion committe, he wrote a letter that he so wanted to attend, but at that time he had another commitment. I am sorry we all lost touch, and I wish he could hear all our warm wishes for him in heaven. God bless you Walt, and rest in peace.
