Gwen Stiffler (Knight)

Gwendolyn H. Knight, 67, of Industry, died April 26, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 20, 1949, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Paul Stiffler and Betty Cole Stiffler Douds. A graduate of Lincoln High School, she was employed with WPIC of UPMC Presbyterian, and was a member of the Midland Sportsmen's Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Monte Stiffler.


Gwen is survived by her cherished family, husband, David A. Knight; sons and their wives, Bud and Mary Buckins, Midland; Bryan and Paige Buckins, Hollidaysburg, Pa., and Monte and Jen Buckins, Hopewell Twp.; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Knight, Wellsville, Ohio; Kim and Brandon Ogden, Troy, N.Y., and Melissa and David Ward, Industry; 18 grandchildren, Nicholas Buckins, Chase Buckins, Dakota Roberts, Emily Johnston, Melanie Buckins, Hunter Buckins, Caroline Buckins, Joseph Grossi, Rocco Grossi, Sofia Grossi, Shae Conley, Siara Conley, Sloan Buckins, Tristan Boyle, Trent Boyle, Teaghan Ogden and Ryliegh Ogden and Cadence Ward, and her great-grandchild, Avery Buckins.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the D.L. WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 848 Midland Ave., Midland, where a service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m.

A luncheon celebrating Gwen's life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Midland Sportsmen's Club.


Private interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vitas Healthcare Community Connection, 2009 Mackenzie Way, Suite 110, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.

Private interment will take place at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry, Pa.
